The following guide outlines and explores the four suits and the Source card which comprise your SoulCollage(R) deck.
In creating and using your SoulCollage(R) cards, there are really no ‘rules’ – except your own! Although four suits are featured here, you can also add suits of your own making. You can swap cards between suits or remove them from the pack altogether, temporarily or permanently.
If there was a rule it would be this:
Your SoulCollage(R) cards are about you, and you can create them and use them however you wish.
The Source Card
This card is a representation of Source Energy or ‘The One’.
How do you represent ‘The Universe’ and everything in it?!
However you wish! It is possible only to depict an image that ‘speaks’ to you, that represents to you the infiniteness, the wondrous energy and Mystery of Source.
Some people use images from nature, or outer space or bright lights. You’ll find something that inspires you and feels ‘right’.
You do not have to create the Source card as your first card. You may want to wait until the perfect image presents itself to you. Or, like me, you may feel you cannot possibly create any other card until you have created this one!
Once you have created your Source card, find a beautiful backing paper to paste on the back of it. Use the paper only for this card. When it’s face down you can then easily spot the Source card.
The Four Suits
The four suits will each have their own backing paper to identify them. Choose whatever colour or patterned paper you desire, a different one for each of the four suits - so that’s four different types of paper in total. Choose something you adore: you’ll be living with it for a long time! If you find later that you have not bought enough paper for a particular suit then you can always colour photocopy some more.
Unlike shop-bought divination packs, the amount of cards contained in the SoulCollage(R) suits is limitless (the Companion Suit might be the exception). You can have as few or as many cards as you like. You may work on all of the suits adding cards to each, or you may find yourself focussing more on one particular suit. I probably focussed more on my Committee Suit than the others, at first.
This is a video I made for my ezine readers about my Source card.
It was one of the first videos I ever made so please forgive the 'shaky' boat-rocking effects!
